Here's what's blooming on the High Line.
The plantings are amazing. B e a u t i f u l.
Todd Martin Architects first office (then Roede + Martin) was the 3d and 4th windows to the left of the corner on the next to top floor of 430 W. 14th Street. There were no flowers growing on the High Line fifteen years ago, but there was still meat being packed in the Meatpacking District - not celebrity meat, but the beef carcass kind.
Gansevoort Street is empty since Florent closed...
New construction everywhere.
The sun always goes down over New Jersey.
Madame Liberty and Staten Island in the distance.
10th Avenue freeze out.
A carnitas torta and a rhubarb ice from vendors above Chelsea Market. Good eatin'.
Approaching 30th Street.
Kudos to the gardeners of the High Line!
