Two weeks ago I flew out to Aspen to visit my brother Scott and sister-in-law Katherine and nephews Jeremy and Alex for a long weekend. It was a last chance to get in some skiing just before the end of the winter-that-wasn't. There was still enough snow in the Elk Range of the Colorado Rockies even as daytime temperatures were pushing 60 degrees which made for fantastic spring skiing.
